We will celebrate a sacred union in the heart of the Andes with our authentic Andean Wedding Ceremony in Cusco. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes, we will honor the ancient traditions of the Inca descendants. This spiritual experience will connect us deeply with nature, love, and the divine energy of the Andes.

A traditional Andean priest, or Altomisayoc, will guide the ceremony following ancestral rituals of gratitude to the Pachamama. We will exchange symbolic offerings, coca leaves, flowers, and chicha, representing abundance and eternal love. The priest will bless our union with sacred words, harmonizing our energy with the natural elements.

We will dress in colorful Andean garments, feeling the vibrant spirit of the mountains around us. The rhythmic sounds of traditional instruments will accompany the ceremony, filling the air with sacred melodies. Every moment will reflect balance, respect, and connection with Mother Earth. This Andean Wedding will not only unite two souls but also link them with the wisdom of ancient Peru. We will live a timeless moment, full of mysticism and cultural richness, making our love an everlasting legend in the Andes. This will be an unforgettable experience.

Itinerary

Day 01 09:00 AM: Pickup and Departure to the Community

We will meet at your hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley. Departure will follow 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup. The private vehicle will take us through scenic Andean roads, giving views of terraced fields and mountain landscapes. During the ride, our guide will explain the community’s principles: Ayni (reciprocity), Minka (communal work), and Yanantin (complementarity).

10:00 - 11:30 AM: Arrival at the Community and Preparations

Upon arrival, the community will welcome us with traditional greetings. We will learn about the ceremonial garments.

  • Lliqlla (mantle): spiritual protection and warmth
  • Montera (hat): symbolizes respect and status
  • Chumpi (faja): represents eternal union,
  • We will also prepare offerings to Pachamama: coca leaves, chicha, flowers, and seeds. Each item carries a blessing of gratitude and abundance.

12:00 PM:  Andean Wedding Ceremony

The Altomisayoc, our Andean priest, will guide the sacred ceremony. The couple will exchange coca leaves and tie the ceremonial shapewear as a symbol of eternal connection. Guests will form a circle, sending energy and blessings to the couple. Traditional instruments and chants will harmonize the environment, creating a sacred and memorable experience.

01:00 PM: Traditional Lunch

We will share a traditional Andean meal prepared by community members. Typical dishes may include quinoa soup, roasted potatoes, alpaca stew, and traditional beverages like chicha. Lunch allows interaction with the locals, learning more about their customs and daily life.

02:00 PM: Closing of the Celebration

We will exchange words of gratitude with the community and reflect on Ayni, the Andean principle of reciprocity. Traditional music will accompany the farewell, along with photos and handcrafted souvenirs. This moment solidifies the spiritual connection and leaves lasting memories.

03:00 PM:  Return to Cusco

The vehicle will return us to the door of your hotel in Cusco, concluding the services. The route back allows for final photo stops and scenic appreciation of the surrounding Andes.
