Itinerary
Day 01 09:00 AM: Pickup and Departure to the Community
We will meet at your hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley. Departure will follow 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup. The private vehicle will take us through scenic Andean roads, giving views of terraced fields and mountain landscapes. During the ride, our guide will explain the community’s principles: Ayni (reciprocity), Minka (communal work), and Yanantin (complementarity).
10:00 - 11:30 AM: Arrival at the Community and Preparations
Upon arrival, the community will welcome us with traditional greetings. We will learn about the ceremonial garments.
- Lliqlla (mantle): spiritual protection and warmth
- Montera (hat): symbolizes respect and status
- Chumpi (faja): represents eternal union,
- We will also prepare offerings to Pachamama: coca leaves, chicha, flowers, and seeds. Each item carries a blessing of gratitude and abundance.
12:00 PM: Andean Wedding Ceremony
The Altomisayoc, our Andean priest, will guide the sacred ceremony. The couple will exchange coca leaves and tie the ceremonial shapewear as a symbol of eternal connection. Guests will form a circle, sending energy and blessings to the couple. Traditional instruments and chants will harmonize the environment, creating a sacred and memorable experience.
01:00 PM: Traditional Lunch
We will share a traditional Andean meal prepared by community members. Typical dishes may include quinoa soup, roasted potatoes, alpaca stew, and traditional beverages like chicha. Lunch allows interaction with the locals, learning more about their customs and daily life.
02:00 PM: Closing of the Celebration
We will exchange words of gratitude with the community and reflect on Ayni, the Andean principle of reciprocity. Traditional music will accompany the farewell, along with photos and handcrafted souvenirs. This moment solidifies the spiritual connection and leaves lasting memories.
03:00 PM: Return to Cusco
The vehicle will return us to the door of your hotel in Cusco, concluding the services. The route back allows for final photo stops and scenic appreciation of the surrounding Andes.

The tour starts very early type 3-4 am, how good you can sleep on the way, we breakfast in a very good buffet and then depart for the mountain. Here the height is the problem, you can walk up but it requires a lot of condition, the good thing is that there are horses that you can pay and for 90 suns they leave you 15-20 minutes from the top. Wear layered clothes as you can warm up when climbing. We already walk down and the road is much easier. On horseback you go up in 40 minutes, you are on the mountain an hour to take pictures and the return is about 1 hour or so. In the end we still had lunch in the same very rich buffet!

What a beautiful place!!! Most of us went up there on mules. Important to clarify if the person weighs more than 110 kg he will not be able to carry it and will have to walk up . . . It is still very expensive, to have proper footwear
