Ica  Paracas Huacachina – Ballestas Islands 3D/2N

We will arrive in Ica Peru, located about 300 km south of Lima. Our transfer assistant will meet us at the bus station and take us to start the first activities of the Ica Paracas Huacachina Ballestas Islands Peru Tour.

We will visit Tacama Vineyard, one of the oldest and most traditional wineries in the region. Here, we will learn about the art of pisco and wine production. We will enjoy a guided tasting of the best local wines while exploring the vineyard’s colonial architecture. The atmosphere will fill us with history, culture, and flavor.

Next, we will visit CulturPisco, a charming artisanal bodega where we will see the traditional process of distilling pisco. We will taste its delicious products and enjoy a relaxed lunch (optional). The warmth of the local people and the aroma of the vineyards will make this visit unforgettable.

In the afternoon, we will check in at our hotel in Huacachina, surrounded by massive dunes and a calm lagoon. Around 16:30 PM., we will start an exciting dune buggy ride across the desert. The ride will bring us incredible views and moments of pure adrenaline.

We will also practice sandboarding on the dunes, sliding down the soft sand and feeling the energy of the desert sunset. The combination of speed, laughter, and golden light will create a perfect ending to the day.

We will wake up early and leave at 06:30 AM. for Paracas, about 75 km from Huacachina. After a scenic drive along the coast, we will arrive at El Chaco Pier to begin our marine adventure.

We will board a modern speedboat to explore the spectacular Ballestas Islands Peru. During the trip, we will see the Candelabro geoglyph, a mysterious figure carved into the coastal sand dunes. As we move across the Pacific Ocean, we will spot sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and hundreds of seabirds resting on the rocky islands.

The two-hour tour will immerse us in the natural beauty of Peru’s marine life. The sea breeze, the blue waters, and the echo of wildlife will make this an unforgettable moment.

Later, we will visit the Paracas National Reserve, one of Peru’s most beautiful coastal landscapes. We will admire red sand beaches, desert cliffs, and turquoise waters meeting the horizon. We will take time to photograph, walk, and appreciate the peaceful surroundings.

By 4:00 PM., we will return to Huacachina, filled with memories of Paracas and its marine wonders.

We will start our final day early, leaving our hotel in Huacachina or central Ica at 6:45 AM. Our journey will take us south of the city through the vast desert plains. On the way, we will stop at Pampa de Piedras, a mystical site where travelers create apachetas as offerings for good fortune.

By 09:00 AM., we will arrive at the Canyon of the Lost, one of Ica’s most impressive natural formations. The canyon reveals layers of rock shaped by time and wind, reaching a depth of nearly 200 meters above sea level. From the viewpoint, we will admire the vast desert landscape and observe carrion birds soaring above the cliffs.

We will walk through the area, observing the silence, fossils, and rock formations that reveal stories millions of years old. The calm and beauty of the canyon will leave us amazed by Peru’s natural diversity.

At 11:30 AM, we will begin our return to Ica, arriving around 3:00 PM. We will then transfer to our hotel or the bus station to conclude this memorable journey.
