Itinerary
Day 01 Arrival in Cusco – City Tour
Upon arrival in Cusco, we will transfer to the hotel for check-in and altitude acclimatization. In the afternoon, we will begin our Cusco City Tour, visiting the most important temples of the Inca Empire. We will explore Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun) and admire the magnificent Cusco Cathedral (optional). Then, we will head to Sacsayhuamán, a massive stone fortress with panoramic views of the city. Our route will continue to Qenqo, a ceremonial rock sanctuary, and finally Pukapukara and Tambomachay, sacred water temples. We will end the day strolling through the historic center, surrounded by colonial balconies and cobbled streets.

Day 02 Sacred Valley – Connection to Aguas Calientes
We will depart early toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be at Taray Viewpoint, offering a stunning panorama of farmlands and sacred mountains. We will visit the Pisaq Archaeological Complex and its traditional artisan market. At Urubamba, we will enjoy a buffet lunch made with local ingredients. In the afternoon, we will explore the Ollantaytambo Fortress, a masterpiece of Inca architecture and defense. Later, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes, the base town of Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, our team will assist with check-in and provide the final briefing.

Day 03 Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Cusco
After breakfast, we will take the bus up to the Machu Picchu Citadel. We will explore its temples, stairways, and terraces with a professional guide for about two hours. We will visit the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, and the Temple of the Three Windows, learning about their spiritual significance. After the guided visit, we will have free time in Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch, visit the hot springs, or shop for souvenirs. In the afternoon, we will take the return train to Ollantaytambo and the transfer back to Cusco.

Day 04 Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca)
We will leave Cusco early, heading to the Red Valley. We will stop in Chillihuani for a traditional Andean breakfast before starting our hike. The ascent will offer breathtaking views of llamas, alpacas, and snow-capped Andean peaks.At the summit, we will reach 5,200 meters, where the vibrant colors of Vinicunca will unfold before us. Our guide will explain the natural mineral formations and their meaning in Andean cosmology. After a well-deserved lunch in Cusipata, we will return to Cusco.

Day 05 Humantay Lake
We will depart early toward Mollepata, where we will enjoy a hearty breakfast. Then we will continue to Soraypampa, the starting point of our trek. We will hike uphill for about 1.5 hours to reach Humantay Lake at 4,250 meters above sea level. The turquoise waters of the lake reflect the snow-capped Salkantay Mountain, creating a picture-perfect scene. We will have time to relax, meditate, and take photos before returning to Mollepata for lunch. By evening, we will arrive back in Cusco.

Day 06 Transfer to the Airport
Depending on our flight time, we will coordinate the transfer from the hotel to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport. Our team will assist during check-in and provide final travel recommendations. After six incredible days filled with history, adventure, and nature, we will conclude the Cusco Magic Tour with unforgettable memories.

The tour starts very early type 3-4 am, how good you can sleep on the way, we breakfast in a very good buffet and then depart for the mountain. Here the height is the problem, you can walk up but it requires a lot of condition, the good thing is that there are horses that you can pay and for 90 suns they leave you 15-20 minutes from the top. Wear layered clothes as you can warm up when climbing. We already walk down and the road is much easier. On horseback you go up in 40 minutes, you are on the mountain an hour to take pictures and the return is about 1 hour or so. In the end we still had lunch in the same very rich buffet!

What a beautiful place!!! Most of us went up there on mules. Important to clarify if the person weighs more than 110 kg he will not be able to carry it and will have to walk up . . . It is still very expensive, to have proper footwear
