Welcome to Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire, located at 3,399 meters above sea level. Upon arrival at the airport, our staff will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in the heart of the city. Enjoy a warm coca tea, a traditional Andean drink that helps with altitude adjustment.

After some rest, the adventure begins in the afternoon with a guided City Tour of Cusco, exploring the main Inca and colonial landmarks. We’ll start at Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun, once the most sacred site of the Incas and later transformed into the Santo Domingo Convent by the Spaniards. The fusion of Inca masonry and colonial architecture is simply stunning.

Next, we’ll head to Sacsayhuamán, an impressive fortress known for its cyclopean stone walls and panoramic views of Cusco. The size and precision of its stones continue to amaze archaeologists today. We’ll continue to Qenqo, a mysterious ceremonial site with carved rocks used for rituals; Tambomachay, the “Bath of the Inca” dedicated to the worship of water; and Puca Pucara, the “Red Fortress”, which guarded the valley entrance.

At the end of the tour, return to Cusco city for free time to explore the main square, enjoy dinner, or rest for the next day’s adventure.

Rise early for an unforgettable day in the high Andes. Departure is at 4:30 AM towards the small town of Cusipata, located at 3,310 meters. Here, we’ll enjoy a delicious traditional breakfast prepared with local ingredients before continuing by bus to Fulawasipata, the starting point of our hike.

From there, we’ll begin a 1.5-hour trek through breathtaking landscapes filled with llamas and alpacas grazing under snow-capped peaks. The trail winds through high Andean valleys where the colors of the soil and sky shift with every step. As we approach Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain), the horizon opens to reveal layers of red, yellow, green, and turquoise — a geological masterpiece shaped by nature over millions of years.

At the summit, take your time to admire the spectacular view and capture incredible photos of the surrounding Andean range. You’ll feel the effort of the climb fade away as you stand before one of Peru’s most iconic natural wonders.

After some time at the top, descend to the starting point and enjoy a well-deserved buffet lunch in Cusipata. Return to Cusco in the afternoon, arriving around 5:00 PM, with the rest of the evening free to relax.

Today is the highlight of your trip — a journey to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. We’ll leave early from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, where we’ll board a train that follows the sacred Urubamba River through lush valleys and towering mountains. The scenic ride offers perfect photo opportunities as the landscape transitions from the Andes to the subtropical cloud forest.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we’ll take the bus that climbs to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary (2,430 meters above sea level). Our expert guide will lead a detailed 2.5-hour tour, revealing the secrets of this Inca masterpiece. Explore the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana (Sun Dial), the Sacred Rock, and royal terraces that once hosted priests and nobles.

Feel the mystical energy of this sacred citadel as you gaze upon its perfect stonework and panoramic setting between the Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu mountains. After the guided tour, enjoy free time to explore on your own or simply sit quietly to absorb the magic of the site.

Later, descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and optional visit to the local hot springs. In the afternoon, take the train back to Ollantaytambo, then return by private transport to Cusco, arriving in the evening.
