New Year’s Package in Huacachina

At 2:00 PM, we’ll check in at Carola Lodge. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage at the reception and enjoy the hotel facilities.

At 4:30 PM, we’ll begin an exciting dune buggy ride through the Huacachina dunes. You’ll try sandboarding from the highest points and take incredible photos of the desert. We’ll go up and down dunes that reach up to 100 meters high, feeling the thrill with every turn.

• Distance: 15 km (buggy ride and hotel–dune transfers)

• Route: Hotel – Huacachina – Hotel

• Difficulty: Moderate (light to moderate physical activity)

At 6:30 AM, we’ll depart for Paracas in a private or shared vehicle, enjoying beautiful coastal views along the 3-hour drive.

At 8:00 AM, we’ll start the boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and seabirds. We’ll first see the mysterious Candelabro geoglyph, then continue around the islands for about two hours.

At 11:00 AM, we’ll explore the Paracas National Reserve, known for its biodiversity, beaches, and impressive rock formations. You’ll have time to walk, take photos, and admire the coastal beauty. Around 4:00 PM, we’ll return to Huacachina.

At 6:30 AM, we’ll depart from Huacachina toward Santiago and Ocucaje, stopping briefly to buy snacks and water.

We’ll explore the Lost Canyon (Cañón de los Perdidos), a stunning natural formation surrounded by desert landscapes. With our expert guide, you’ll learn about the area’s geological history, flora, and fauna. The excursion lasts about 5 to 6 hours, returning between 3:00 and 4:00 PM.

At midday, we’ll check out from the hotel, marking the end of our New Year’s Package in Huacachina. You can coordinate transportation back to Lima or continue your trip to other destinations.
