Day 01 Huacachina Paragliding - Paragliding Peru
We will begin with a private transfer from Ica city center to the Huacachina meeting point. The journey offers scenic views of the desert landscape and local villages. Along the way, we will see the vast golden dunes and enjoy the calm of the surrounding desert.
Upon arrival, we will board a tubular vehicle to explore the impressive desert dunes. This ride allows us to experience the desert terrain up close. During the ride, we will stop at two remarkable locations.
First, the launch zone, where we will prepare for the paragliding flight. Our certified instructors will explain and apply all safety measures.
We will then take flight in tandem paragliding, soaring above the dunes and the Huacachina oasis. The flight lasts approximately 15 minutes, giving us panoramic views of the desert and oasis below. From the sky, we will see the shimmering lagoon, sand dunes, and the surrounding natural desert scenery. This experience combines adrenaline, freedom, and breathtaking photographic opportunities.
Next, we will stop at the Huacachina Oasis viewpoint, the only viewpoint of its kind in South America. Here, we will have time to take photos, enjoy the scenery, and admire the oasis from a privileged height. The unique desert colors, reflections on the lagoon, and vast landscapes provide an unforgettable perspective.
If the weather prevents the full 15-minute flight, our 4x4 vehicle will take us back from the landing site. We will return to the launch site to complete a second flight at no additional cost. Afterward, we will return to the Huacachina office, concluding the adventure.

The tour starts very early type 3-4 am, how good you can sleep on the way, we breakfast in a very good buffet and then depart for the mountain. Here the height is the problem, you can walk up but it requires a lot of condition, the good thing is that there are horses that you can pay and for 90 suns they leave you 15-20 minutes from the top. Wear layered clothes as you can warm up when climbing. We already walk down and the road is much easier. On horseback you go up in 40 minutes, you are on the mountain an hour to take pictures and the return is about 1 hour or so. In the end we still had lunch in the same very rich buffet!

What a beautiful place!!! Most of us went up there on mules. Important to clarify if the person weighs more than 110 kg he will not be able to carry it and will have to walk up . . . It is still very expensive, to have proper footwear
