Itinerary

Day 01 Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa – Humantay Lake – Cusco

The Humantay Lake Tour 1 Day – Laguna Humantay Cusco begins with hotel pickup in Cusco at 04:30 AM. We will drive towards Mollepata, located at more than 3,000 meters above sea level, where you will enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast.

Afterward, we continue to Soraypampa, passing through valleys, gorges, and scenic Andean landscapes, the starting point of our trek. From here, the ascent to Humantay Lake begins, located at 4,250 meters above sea level. The hike takes approximately 1.5 hours, with gradual elevation gain.

Once at Humantay Lake, you will explore its turquoise waters, admire the snowcapped Salkantay Mountain, and take incredible photos. You will also enjoy the peaceful energy of this natural wonder.

After spending time at the lake, we descended to Soraypampa to take our transport back to Mollepata, where we will have lunch before returning to Cusco. Arrival in the city is around 6:30 PM. This day tour offers the perfect combination of trekking, nature, and one of the most famous turquoise lakes in Peru.
