Itinerary

Day 01 Dune Buggies and Sandboarding in Huacachina

We will meet at the designated meeting point in Huacachina, 10 minutes before departure. After a detailed safety briefing by our driver, we’ll be ready to start this UTV dune buggy adventure in Ica.

Our ride begins at the oasis, heading straight into the golden desert dunes. As we ascend and descend steep slopes, you’ll feel the adrenaline rush of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Our first stop will be at the famous “Patrick” double dune, where we’ll enjoy sandboarding in Huacachina. With the guidance of our instructor, you’ll learn the correct technique and then slide down the sandy slopes at full speed. This is one of the most exciting activities in the Peruvian desert.

Next, we’ll drive toward a natural viewpoint overlooking the Huacachina Oasis. This panoramic spot offers one of the best views of South America’s only natural desert oasis. Take stunning photos as the green lagoon contrasts beautifully with the endless golden dunes.

Finally, we’ll return to our starting point in Huacachina. The last stretch of the ride gives you more chances to enjoy the UTV adventure before we close this experience full of adrenaline, nature, and breathtaking scenery.

Muy linda experiencia! El traslado y el guía estuvieron muy bien. Es una caminata exigente pero muy bonita. Estaría bueno tener una media hora más para recuperarse y subir hasta la cima donde salen mejores fotos. Al menos con mi estado físico no me dio el aire para hacer todo tan rápido!
