Itinerary

Day 01 Cusco – Moray – Maras – Cusco

The tour begins at 08:30 AM from our hotel in Cusco. We will travel through the Urubamba Valley, surrounded by Andean mountains and traditional villages. Fields of crops will alternate with snow-capped peaks under clear skies. This scenic route will prepare us to explore the treasures of Maras Moray Peru.

Our first stop will be the archaeological site of Moray. We will explore circular terraces that descend about 150 meters. These concentric structures recreate microclimates used in agricultural experiments. We will learn how the Incas developed advanced techniques for maize, potatoes, and quinoa. Muy linda experiencia! El traslado y el guía estuvieron muy bien. Es una caminata exigente pero muy bonita. Estaría bueno tener una media hora más para recuperarse y subir hasta la cima donde salen mejores fotos. Al menos con mi estado físico no me dio el aire para hacer todo tan rápido!
