Itinerary

Day 01 Cusco – Cusipata – Vinincunca – Cusco

Rainbow Mountain by ATV: adrenaline, high Andean landscapes, and natural colors in an unforgettable adventure from Cusco.

We will start our adventure very early at 4:30 a.m., with pickup from the center of Cusco. We will travel through Andean valleys until we reach the town of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a traditional homemade breakfast full of energy.

We will then continue by vehicle for approximately two hours until we reach the base of Rainbow Mountain. There, we will receive safety instructions to drive the semi-automatic ATVs. The excitement begins as we get on the all-terrain vehicles and explore the high Andean landscapes.

For 30 minutes, we will ride surrounded by mountains while observing llamas, alpacas, and native birds of the region. The fresh air and stunning views will accompany us until we reach the ATV parking area. From this point, we will hike for about an hour to the impressive Rainbow Mountain by ATV, also known as Vinicunca.

At the summit, we will witness a natural spectacle with mountains dyed in red, green, yellow, and purple. We will take time to capture photos, record videos, and listen to explanations from our guide. Afterwards, we will descend to get back on the ATVs and ride another 30 minutes back to the base.

Finally, we will board our vehicle to a local restaurant for a buffet lunch. After a two-hour drive, we will return to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 p.m., with unforgettable memories of this unique experience.

Muy linda experiencia! El traslado y el guía estuvieron muy bien. Es una caminata exigente pero muy bonita. Estaría bueno tener una media hora más para recuperarse y subir hasta la cima donde salen mejores fotos. Al menos con mi estado físico no me dio el aire para hacer todo tan rápido!
