ABOUT PAYMENTS FOR RESERVATIONS
At Machu Picchu Peru Tours, we offer three payment options for booking your reservations:
- Full payment (100%) of the total amount through our website and/or via our sales representatives.
- Partial payment (50%) + 5% transaction fee of the total amount through our website and/or via our sales representatives.*
- Down payments and installment plans made before the tour date, previously coordinated with your sales representative.
If you have not made any of these payments, Machu Picchu Peru Tours will not consider your reservation as CONFIRMED and will not be obligated to provide the requested tour service.
*The remaining balance may be paid up to one day before your scheduled tour, either at our offices using any of the accepted currencies and payment methods listed below.
ABOUT ACCEPTED CURRENCIES
At Machu Picchu Peru Tours, we currently accept four currencies:
- Peruvian Soles (PEN)
- U.S. Dollars (USD)
- Euros (€)
- Brazilian Real (R$)
ABOUT PAYMENT METHODS
At Machu Picchu Peru Tours, we accept the following payment methods:
- Credit or Debit Card: Through secure payment platforms such as Niubiz or Izipay.
- Bank Transfer: Via our corporate accounts at BCP, Interbank, BBVA, or Scotiabank.
- Digital Wallets: Through Yape, PayPal, or Payoneer.
- Other Platforms: Including WeTravel and Western Union.
If the transaction is made on Friday afternoon or during the weekend, the funds will be received on Monday after midday.
According to regulations established by SUNAT (Peruvian Tax Authority), only bank-verified transactions (those that have cleared into our account) or cash payments can be invoiced. Therefore, receipts or invoices will be issued only after the payment is registered in our bank account.
